Job description

The ideal candidates will have a strong farming or animal science background along with a fundamental understanding and interest in dairy farming. The successful candidate will have dairy related education and/or experience working on dairy farms.

• You will work with farms around the UK using our products and systems, helping develop, test and adjust for optimum performance
• You will look after robotic systems, camera-based systems and wearable sensors
• You will liaise directly with farmers to help maximise the potential of our products
• You will work closely with our engineers and data scientists to develop and enhance systems that can provide dairy farmers with meaningful insights
• You will collect, and verify animal behavioural data relating to our product development

To be considered for interview you will have:

• Enthusiasm for cows and for dairy farming, and an interest in making the food production sustainable
• A strong, practical experience of dairy farming.
• An aspiration to develop their career in the agriculture sector
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Willing to travel the UK and on occasion internationally
• Be prepared to work as a part of a team, including some shift work
• Based within the UK
• Drivers lisense
• It will be an advantage if you have a formal qualification in agricultural science.
