[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] is a domiciliary care company that supports disabled adults in their own homes across Surrey. We are looking to add to our fantastic team of support worker/carers.

What we do:

We provide longer visits to support people within their own homes. We are a friendly face and a caring hand to those that we support.
The individuals that we support are between the ages of 18-65 and diagnosed with autism, learning disability, mental health, physical health condition or any combination of the four.

Job spec:

As a support worker/carer you will be working as part of a team as well as lone working. Our aim is for you to provide person centred care that enables the individual to remain living as independently as possible.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting individuals to access the community, engage in activities, appointments and socialising, Light housework, personal care (optional), paperwork and much more.

Requirements:

• Hours – 7.5, 15, 22.5, or 30 hours per week ( face to face time – travel time not included)
• Fixed monthly salary (will increase if overtime is undertaken)
• Holiday Pay
• We will keep you within a maximum 20 miles of your home address (as the crow flies) (we will try to keep you as local as practically possible)
• 1 weekend day may be mandatory where required (substituted for a day in the week)
• All hours will be between 8am & 7pm
• You may not refuse work (we will work with you to ensure that you are happy in your role)
• Driving Licence
• Business Insurance (Car)
