Job Description & Responsibilities
- Support with fundamental food preparation duties, such as slicing vegetables, peeling, and preparing ingredients.
- Clean dishes, utensils, and kitchen tools to uphold a tidy and well-ordered workspace.
- Overseeing and restocking kitchen provisions, encompassing ingredients, utensils, and cleaning supplies.
- Assist chefs and cooks in diverse responsibilities, including retrieving ingredients, executing instructions, and ensuring optimal kitchen efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, implementing proper sanitation practices, and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen.
- Properly dispose kitchen waste, recycling materials when applicable, and following waste disposal guidelines.
Ideal Candidate
- Must be hard working and Honest.
- Must be catering or food hygiene certificate.
- Must have previous experience as a Kitchen assistant.
- Must hold a valid DBS.
- Be confident and able to engage with others.
