Job Description:

We are seeking a caring, compassionate and dedicated Care Worker to join our domiciliary care company. As a Care Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to elderly and disabled people in their own homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and dignity.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide personal care and support to clients, including assistance with bathing, dressing, toileting, and medication administration

Assist with meal preparation and feeding, as required

Provide companionship and emotional support to clients

Help clients with shopping, cleaning and other household tasks

Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes or concerns to the care manager

Adhere to all company policies and procedures, and maintain confidentiality at all times

Participate in training and development activities, and attend team meetings as required

Work flexibly to meet the needs of the clients, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays

Requirements:

Previous experience in a care or support role is desirable, but not essential

A caring and compassionate nature, with a desire to make a positive difference to the lives of others

Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues

A patient, understanding and non-judgmental approach

Reliable, trustworthy and able to work independently

A willingness to learn and develop new skills

Access to a vehicle and a valid driving license (desirable but not essential)
