[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] Ltd are recruiting a reliable permanent full-time Mixing Room Operative to help in the preparation of high quality meat mixes in our Mixing Room at Heck Q, Kirklington, Bedale.
Main duties include but are not limited to:
- To operate a clean and tidy mixing room
- Ensuring that all the mixes meet [Employer hidden] recipe specification
- Ensuring all [Employer hidden] procedures are followed
- All recipes must be followed
- All batch codes must be recorded accurately
- All batches must be labelled correctly
- Mixing room to be kept clean and tidy at all times
- All staff must be wearing the correct Colour of PPE to which product they are using
- All health and safety procedures must be followed when operating machinery or using knifes
- Report all issues to your line manager
- To complete relevant paperwork & checks
- To keep segregation in place (meat and veg)
- Any damages to the equipment must be reported to manager
- Responsibility for the issued knifes
- Strong communicator and have the ability to work as part of a team and on your own
Previous food production experience would be an advantage, but full training will be provided.
Essential:
- flexible and open to additional hours at busier periods of production
- Driving license
Hours of work and benefits:
Core hours working Monday to Friday, around 40 Hours per week with the occasional Saturday working.
28 days holiday per annum (including bank holidays)

This is a very physically demanding role which requires a keen eye for detail to maintain high standards of quality, cleanliness and hygiene.
