Job description & Responsibilities
Description:
We are looking for experienced developers that are willing to solve complex technical issues while developing high-quality software systems using modern technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Install and configure network equipment to update or fix hardware or software issues.
- Update virus protection software to keep data and communications protected.
- Monitor computer systems to improve network performance for computer systems and networks.
- Communicate networking issues to other employees and management, especially in training new users.
- Knowledge of networking services and common networking protocols.
- Computer proficiency and understanding of various types of hardware.
- Ability to problem solve and think critically.
- Project management skills.
- Maintain computer networks and systems including software, mainframes, VPNs, routers, and other physical hardware.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a technical qualification in a related field such as a Microsoft certification.
- Passion and enthusiasm for the technology industry and our part within it.
- Proven experience as an IT Systems Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience with Windows, Android & Mac operating systems.
- Experience with network administration and troubleshooting.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms.
Optional Skills:
- Exposure to working with Microsoft 365 administration, including Azure AD, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Teams.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, CCNA, etc.) are desirable but not essential.
