Primary Role

Adlib is looking to expand its in-house audio system technician team. We are looking for technicians with a friendly positive attitude that can rig large format audio systems to provide the ultimate results. There is varying work from major touring to large one-off events. We have an excellent technical support team and any additional training for systems you may not be used to will be provided in-house. We would expect people to have knowledge of loudspeaker eco-systems such as L-Acoustics, CODA and JBL – including system planning, design, build, config and tuning. They should also have an understanding of audio DSP/control platforms such as Lake and Newton – and networked audio such as Dante and AVB.

Main Responsibilities

  • System planning, design, build, config, and tuning
  • Ensuring deadlines are met
  • Prep & De-prep of equipment
  • Setting up and Operation of Audio Systems
  • Upholding Health & Safety Standards
  • Maintaining equipment standards
  • General Housekeeping
  • Documentation/Reporting Responsibilities
  • Ensure all documentation is up to date and present
  • Report faults, damages or missing equipment
