Job Role:
ABP UK Shrewsbury are looking to recruit Operatives who will be accountable for the effective, efficient and economic packing of Beef and Lamb products.
- Dayshift runs from Monday to Saturday from 7am to 3:30pm with a rotating day off.
- Nightshift runs from Sunday to Friday from 5pm to 1:30am with a rotating night off.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure agreed throughput and yield targets are met.
- Continuous improvements in efficiency achieved and communicated.
- Pack product to specification
- To ensure the most effective and efficient utilisation of department resources, labour and machinery.
- General housekeeping.
- Attend meetings when required by your supervisor.
- Ensure products meet the customers` requirements.
- To be aware of HACCP.
- Adhere to current legislation regarding safe food production.
Knowledge and Experience:
The ideal candidate should have a strong generalist background gained in a comparable environment and have excellent interpersonal skills, a high degree of self-motivation and the ability to meet the demands of a fast paced environment.
