Role Description
We are currently seeking multiple Senior Fiber Network Engineers, based in the UK, to support our expanding global customers. Reporting directly to the CTO you will oversee all technical delivery and troubleshooting of fiber network solutions to our customers. You will be responsible for developing, deploying, and automating fiber network systems for our customers. You will work closely with the CTO, Project Managers, and customer IT managers.

Responsibilities
Assist in Design, development and implementation of IT networks and infrastructure services
Deliver High Level Design (HLD), Low Level Design (LLD) documents and define solution validation test plans for fiber network projects
Develop Migration Strategy, Migration Design, Method of Procedures documents for customer migration projects
Perform general maintenance and system upgrades for fiber network infrastructure
Support 3rd Parties in Integration activities and offer technical guidance on deployed solutions
Undertake typical break-fix support activities on all networks related infrastructure and services
Ability to take direction from management and execute work in an efficient manner
Proactive in the resolution of engineering obstacles, conferring with management on fiber network projects
Cross-functional leadership skills, experience in communicating risks and action plans to the CTO
Support pre-sales activities with relevant expertise as required by the business
Perform other related duties as assigned
Complete work to agreed time scales
Ensure compliance with all current client processes and procedures
Develop automation software tooling to bring efficiency within the organization
Be able to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external clients
Travel on-site for customer meetings and/or customer solution implementation/validation.
