Chef Overview: Our elderly residents deserve the best when it comes to their daily meals and we are in search of a creative chef who can deliver just that. We need someone who can impress and inspire their taste buds with delicious and nutritious dishes, while also taking into consideration any dietary restrictions or special needs.
As a Chef, you will be responsible for managing the kitchen and leading the team to prepare high-quality, beautifully presented meals. You will also be in charge of ordering food and supplies, managing budgets, and ensuring that all kitchen assistants follow food hygiene and health and safety regulations. Collaboration with the care team is also expected.
This role requires cooking qualifications or a minimum of one year of experience in a commercial kitchen management setting. You must hold a Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate. While experience within the Adult Social Care Environment is not necessary, you must be willing to work within this sector.
With your help, we can make a real difference in the lives of our residents. Apply today and be part of a team that is confident in its ability to provide exceptional care and support.
About the Home: Part of a large charitable organisation, Cadogan Court provides residential care, nursing and residential dementia support. We can support up to 70 residents with permanent care or short-stay respite breaks.
