1st Line IT Support Engineer
As a 1st Line IT Support Engineer, you will provide us with the ability to deliver quality technical support to our clients in a timely manner. This requires knowledge of both the software and hardware we support, as well as impeccable communications skills and reliability.
You will be our ambassador and the first point of contact for many of our customers. You will get to know them and they will get to know you.

As a 1st Line IT Support Engineer, you will provide us with the ability to deliver quality technical support to our clients in a timely manner. This requires knowledge of both the software and hardware we support, as well as impeccable communications skills and reliability. You will be our ambassador and the first point of contact for many of our customers.

Your working hours will be Monday to Friday 08.30 17.30, with occasional out of hours on-call duties.

Your Responsibilities
Reporting to the 1st Line Team Leader, you will be responsible for:

Providing an excellent customer experience at all times.
Provide support to a variety of Cardonets clients.
Accurately keeping tickets up to date, informative and clear.
Escalating as and when required using internal guidelines.
Managing client expectations and prioritizing issues.
Liaising with partners and third parties to resolve customer issues.
Fixing clients technical issues.
Your Attributes
Are passionate about technology.
Have previous relevant experience providing IT support.
You would be comfortable with a variety of technology from MS Exchange, Active Directory and O365, to servers, VLANS and some virtual machines.
Working knowledge of SharePoint and Lync.
Really enjoy helping others and providing superb customer service.
Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
Good prioritisation, organisation and troubleshooting skills.
Can work calmly in a busy, fast-paced environment.
Can ensure a clear DBS check.
