About the Role:
As a Business Development Manager, you will own a specific market / vertical and be responsible for bringing new employers to the platform & ensuring that they have a positive, high-quality recruitment experience.
You will be working with companies from different industries and sizes, from up-and-coming startups to household names.
This is a cross-functional role, which requires regular interaction with the Marketing, Talent and Product teams.
You will help us achieve our mission to become the place to be for every candidate and employer in our space.
Responsibilities:
Own a market / vertical
Map the market to identify potential clients
Develop, execute, and refine our client acquisition strategy
Inspire and educate prospective clients on the value of our service versus traditional recruiting channels
Maintain effective engagement with new and existing clients
Lead a team of recruitment consultants (Talent Sponsors) to ensure clients are being matched with the right candidates
Partner with the Marketing team to generate inbound leads
Collaborate with the Product team to improve the platform and overall client experience
Requirements:
~3-8 years experience in management consulting or similar client-facing role
Strong understanding of the management consulting, investment banking and/or investment management landscape
Enthusiasm to join an early-stage company and help build a disruptive business
Excellent communication skills
A self-starter who takes the initiative to get things done
High attention to detail, with a process and solution-oriented mindset
A team player who is passionate about growing a business
Interest or experience in recruitment
