Care Worker

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Workers to join our team. As a Care Worker, you will provide essential support and assistance to individuals who require care due to age, illness, or disability. Your role will involve helping clients with daily tasks, promoting their independence, and ensuring their well-being.

More About the role
Duties:

- Assist clients with personal care activities, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary
- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversations with clients
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as tidying up living areas and doing laundry
- Escort clients to appointments or social outings
- Monitor clients' health and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided

Experience:

- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of basic caregiving techniques and principles
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and their families
- Empathy and compassion for individuals requiring care
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

Skills:

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Patience and understanding when dealing with clients' unique needs
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing situations
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require lifting or assisting clients
