FULL DESCRIPTION
Mid-Level Roto/Paint Artist
We are looking for a skilled Mid-Level Roto/Paint Artist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating high-quality rotoscope mattes and digital paintwork, ensuring seamless integration of VFX elements. You’ll work closely with compositors and supervisors to remove unwanted elements, create clean plates, and maintain the highest visual standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform precise rotoscoping to isolate elements for compositing.
- Execute paint and cleanup tasks, including wire/rig removal, reflection cleanup, and plate preparation.
- Ensure seamless integration of VFX elements while maintaining the highest quality.
- Collaborate with compositors and supervisors to meet project requirements and deadlines.
- Maintain consistency and efficiency across multiple shots.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in roto and paint work within a VFX studio.
- Strong proficiency in Nuke and SilhouetteFX.
- Solid understanding of motion blur, perspective, and depth in rotoscoping.
- Experience with wire/rig removal and beauty cleanup techniques.
- Keen eye for detail, consistency, and color matching.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and take feedback constructively.
