Delivery Manager
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is recruiting a Delivery Manager for the End User Compute Services team within [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]. This role is open to existing Civil Servants only. Salary: £42,914-£46,182 (National) / £49,325-£53,081 (London). Hybrid working, 1-year fixed term with potential permanency.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, maintain and motivate multidisciplinary teams; facilitate continuous improvement.
- Build trust with leaders, stakeholders and teams; advocate for lean and agile practices.
- Be a people advocate: help teams evolve practices for optimal health and performance.
- Support delivery management professionals and the wider community.
- Share learnings through coaching, mentoring, and community contributions.
Essential Criteria
- Agile and Lean practices – practical experience with agile tools, techniques, principles.
- Communication skills – listen to technical and business stakeholders, manage expectations.
- Planning – facilitate planning cycles, manage dependencies, remove blockers.
- Maintaining delivery momentum – manage pace, address risks and issues.
- Making the process work – identify and challenge organisational processes.
- Proven background in leading digital and/or technology delivery.
- Team dynamics and collaboration – bring people together, empower teams.
- Willingness to undergo SC clearance.
