About the Role

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is currently recruiting for a Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) to support the CAMEO North adult and specialist service in Peterborough. This is a full-time block booking opportunity starting ASAP, offering consistent weekday shifts within a specialist mental health setting.

The successful candidate will work as a Care Coordinator, supporting adults with mental health needs through assessment, care planning, risk management, and ongoing community-based support. This role is ideal for an experienced CPN looking for stability within a specialist multidisciplinary team environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing and coordinating care for service users within the community
  • Completing mental health assessments and risk assessments
  • Developing and reviewing person-centred care plans
  • Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and external services
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date clinical records
  • Supporting service users through recovery-focused interventions
  • Escalating safeguarding or clinical concerns appropriately

Requirements

  • Valid NMC registration as a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN)
  • Previous experience working as a CPN or Care Coordinator
  • Community mental health experience within adult services
  • Strong assessment and case management skills
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities
  • Ability to work independently and manage caseloads effectively
  • NHS experience preferred
