If you’ve worked with MSPs or in SaaS environments and have experience selling backup or data protection solutions, we’d love to hear from you. This role suits someone who understands how MSPs package, position, and sell backup as part of a wider security and resilience stack—and can clearly articulate that value to partners and end customers. You’ll bring commercial confidence, technical awareness, and a strong grasp of recurring‑revenue models to help customers protect data, reduce risk, and scale their services. Bonus points if you’ve sold backup via the channel or supported MSPs in building and growing their security offerings.
This role is hybrid (minimum 3 days per week in our Edinburgh office, and 2 days from home).
What You'll Do
- Develop and manage the growth of assigned accounts by identifying new business opportunities, maintaining a robust sales pipeline, and collaborating with Sales Leadership.
- Gain and maintain in-depth knowledge of [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] products, competitor solutions, and industry trends.
- Conduct technical sales discussions with prospective clients via conference calls and web demonstrations, utilizing Sales Engineering resources as needed.
- Drive multi-product sales by positioning additional [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] solutions within assigned customer accounts.
- Manage and maintain Salesforce (SFDC) to ensure accurate forecasting and visibility into the sales pipeline.
- Deliver compelling product presentations, effectively demonstrating the value of [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] solutions.
- Consistently execute successful deal closures and improve conversion rates within the sales pipeline.
- Have experience selling Cove or a similar back-up product.
What You'll Bring
- Proven self-starter with a history of achieving sales targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Strong ability to interact and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently and stay self-motivated.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
