Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum WTE (dependent on experience)

Rosedean House Surgery is looking for an experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our multi-disciplinary team, to help us to transform and modernise pathways of care, enabling the safe and effective sharing of skills across traditional professional boundaries.

The Advanced Clinical Practitioner will make autonomous decisions in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of patients registered with our practices. You will have experience within a primary care setting and your high standards of patient care will naturally inspire those you work with.

In addition to standard nursing duties, the advanced clinical practitioner (ACP) role is accountable in conjunction with the lead nurse for the clinical governance of the practice and is designed to provide clinical leadership in the practice, in order to ensure the safe, effective and compliant delivery of services to all patients. You will work alongside a multi-disciplinary team including: GPs, practices nurses, wellbeing advisors, health coaches, physician associate, and more.

Requirements

The successful candidate will demonstrate flexibility in attitude and behaviour. They will be keen to undertake new ways of working and delivering healthcare, committing to undertaking the professional development required to adapt to changing circumstances.

  • Be registered with current NMC/ HCPC/GPhC registration
  • Have a MSc in Advanced Practice or Relevant ACP courses at Level 7 including recognised modules in Advanced Physical Assessment Skills (essential), Minor Injuries, Disease Management, etc.
  • Be a certified Independent Prescriber
  • Have primary care experience as well as experience in minor illness management
  • Be proficient in managing whole episodes of care, whilst being part of a larger MDT
  • Strong communication skills, patience and friendly attitude
  • Ability to perform in stressful and complex situation
  • Sound clinical reasoning and decision making
  • Flexibility
  • Ability to inspire and lead a team
