Transactional Finance Supevisor

Job Description

A growing professional services business based in Halifax is looking to recruit a Transactional Finance Supervisor to join its finance team. Reporting to a qualified Finance Manager, this role offers a great opportunity for an ambitious individual looking to step into a supervisory position and develop their career.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the AP and AR functions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Oversee invoicing, collections, supplier payments, and reconciliations
• Support month-end processes related to transactional finance
• Review work completed by junior team members
• Identify and implement process improvements
• Assist with queries from internal stakeholders and external clients
• Ensure strong financial controls and adherence to procedures

About You

• AAT qualified (or close to completion)
• Experience within practice or industry
• Looking to take a first step into a supervisory position
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Confident communicator with a proactive approach
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
