This opportunity sits within a well-established and collaborative underwriting team based in Leeds. The role is focused purely on renewals, giving you the opportunity to manage and retain an existing book of financial lines business while strengthening broker relationships.
This role centres on managing an existing book of financial lines business, including Professional Indemnity, Directors & Officers, Construction, and Liability. You'll work closely with brokers to retain and develop key accounts while delivering high-quality underwriting decisions and maintaining strong relationships. The environment is ideal for someone who thrives in a desk-based, technical underwriting role rather than a new business or sales-led environment.
Requirements
- Experience in underwriting or broking within financial lines or wider commercial lines
- Strong understanding of how to assess and underwrite risk
- Ability to manage broker relationships and retain key accounts
