The Role

This role is part of the [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Procurement and Commercial (P&C) team supporting the ASTI Onshore Capital Delivery programme. Reporting to the Procurement & Commercial Manager, you will provide pre and post contract procurement and commercial support to large projects within [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]. This is an excellent opportunity to grow within the [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] portfolio.

You will be negotiating contract T&C’s for projects of significant value (£50M to £500M) and subsequent commercial management. This will include management of commercial staff, negotiating contract prices, and ensuring value for money.

Key Responsibilities

• Negotiate contract terms and conditions for high-value projects
• Manage commercial staff and resolve disputes
• Cost and forecast management, change management procedures
• Post contract commercial management, including compensation events
• Support the Procurement and Commercial Manager

Requirements

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent, working towards RICS or CICES membership
• Knowledge of commercial governance for large capital projects
• Experience in estimating, sourcing, cost & budget management, contract administration
• Experience with NEC/FIDIC contracts
