FULL DESCRIPTION

Development Analyst

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is hiring a Development Analyst. Base locations: Reading, Portsmouth, Glasgow, Perth or Inverness. Salary: £35,200 - £52,800 + benefits. 18 month fixed term contract. Hybrid working.

The Role

The way we use energy is changing. At [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal], the Whole System Development team is instrumental in building strategic plans for networks. You will engage stakeholders, develop DNOA methodology, and support network development plans.

You Will

  • Engage and influence internal and external stakeholders.
  • Use stakeholder information and DFES to understand future needs.
  • Develop DNOA methodology and output reports.
  • Develop and support publicly available data for Whole System Coordination Register and NDP.
  • Develop proactive approaches for low voltage networks.
  • Form part of broader power system analyst programme.

You Have

  • Minimum HNC or STEM degree.
  • Highly organised with ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Willingness to understand distribution network operations.
