Project Manager (Marine Cables)

This role supports the Spittal to Peterhead HVDC Link project, part of the ASTI HVDC Project portfolio. Base locations: Aberdeen, Inverness or Perth. Hybrid working (50% office/site). Permanent, full-time. Salary: £50,100 - £75,100 + car/car allowance + bonus + benefits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and empower the [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] project team, working collaboratively with external contractors to deliver project excellence.
  • Embody the [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Safety Culture and core leadership values with a proactive approach to safety management.
  • Monitor schedule, budget and cost; support project reporting and contract administration.
  • Take line management and mentoring responsibility for direct reports.
  • Deliver refinement and execution of projects and packages safely, on time, within cost and quality targets.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven track record leading projects in Transmission, Subsea Construction, Energy, or regulated industry.
  • Engineering or project management qualification/degree with experience in subsea cable installation (pull-ins, lay, trenching, jointing, crossings, HDDs, testing, commissioning).
  • Knowledge of CDM 2015, Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, and relevant HSE legislation.
  • Commercially astute with experience negotiating and managing NEC Contracts.
  • Collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills.
