Finance & Accounting Manager

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking a Finance & Accounting Manager. This is a remote position reporting to the Vice President of Finance. The role supports core accounting operations, financial reporting, and drives process improvement and automation.

Position Overview

The Finance & Accounting Manager plays an important role in supporting core accounting operations and financial reporting, as well as driving process improvement and automation. This individual will collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate reporting while prioritizing automation and streamlined workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process Improvement & Automation – Identify opportunities to improve workflows, automate processes, and enhance system integrations.
  • Financial Analysis Support – Review financial data, support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow tracking.
  • General Accounting & Reporting – Manage A/P, A/R, payroll, commission management, financial statement preparation, accrual schedules, bank reconciliation, and internal controls.
  • Audit, Tax & Compliance Support – Assist with external audits and tax preparation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting systems (QuickBooks or similar preferred).
  • High attention to detail, strong analytical skills, ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication skills and proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.

  • Improved efficiency and automation within accounting processes.
  • Accurate and timely month-end close and financial reporting.
  • Clean and reconciled accounts with minimal discrepancies.
  • Timely processing of A/P, A/R, and payroll.
  • Strong support of audits and compliance requirements.
