Apprentice OR Trainee Dental Nurse

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is expanding and we’re now looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice or Trainee Dental Nurse to join our team. This is a great opportunity to grow your skills and confidence.

Working Hours

  • 38 hours per week
  • 08:30 – 17:30
  • Tempdent Training provider
  • One day off the job with hours to be completed on the practice premises

Your Role

As an Apprentice or Trainee Dental Nurse, you will work alongside experienced clinicians and qualified nurses, learning all aspects of dental nursing while completing your training.

  • Assist dentists chairside during a variety of treatments
  • Learn and follow cross-infection control and decontamination procedures
  • Prepare and maintain clinical areas and equipment
  • Support patient care and communication to ensure a positive experience
  • Develop essential clinical and organisational skills
  • Complete coursework and practical assessments as part of your apprenticeship

About You

  • GCSE Grade 4 or above in both Maths and English, or Functional Skills Level 2 (or equivalent)
  • A genuine interest in starting a career in dental nursing
  • Friendly, reliable and eager to learn
  • Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-focused approach
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a team
  • Commitment to completing the apprenticeship programme
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
