What you'll be doing

Join [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] as an Employee Relations Consultant, partnering with the business to deliver expert ER guidance and create business-led solutions. You’ll shape strategies aligned with HR and business goals, manage complex cases including employment tribunals, and drive fair, cost-effective outcomes in line with employment law and company policy.

  • Collaborate on Employee Relations, Occupational Health, and Policy strategy across departments.
  • Provide specialist advice on people change projects and policy benchmarking.
  • Local implementation support - Supporting operational management to implement HR policy and procedures consistently at a local level.
  • Building and maintaining external network and understanding commercial challenges.
  • Analyse ER data to inform business decisions and performance.
  • Build strong relationships with trade unions and stakeholders, supporting negotiation and tribunal management.
  • Ensuring reputational risks are clearly considered and recorded.
  • Lead settlement and COT3 agreement processes.
  • Coach managers on ER processes including attendance, capability, disciplinary, grievance, and performance.
  • Drive continuous improvement through digitisation and automation of ER tools and processes.
  • Design and deliver ER learning interventions for people managers.

What we need from you

  • CIPD Level 7 qualified or equivalent experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of employment law, including TUPE, tribunals, and settlement agreements.
  • Proven experience managing complex ER cases in diverse environments.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and develop practical solutions.
  • Excellent influencing and relationship-building skills across all levels.
  • Proficient on various HR systems & Digital tools.
  • Commercial mindset with balanced judgment and risk awareness.
  • Effective multi-tasker with strong written communication skills.
