Account Manager Manufacturing Solutions (Robotics)

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is hiring an Account Manager for Manufacturing Solutions (Robotics) to drive business growth in the UK, Ireland, and Nordics. This is a hybrid role based in Watford, United Kingdom.

Your Mission

To drive business growth by executing strategic sales plans across your region, maximising the adoption and sales of [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]'s robotics solutions.

What You Will Do

  • Deliver revenue growth and expand market share across your territory.
  • Identify and assess market opportunities by understanding the addressable market, generating new leads, and growing existing accounts.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Sales Manager to define and implement the go-to-market strategy.
  • Qualify prospects using agreed frameworks, building detailed engagement plans for each opportunity.
  • Maintain a strong sales pipeline and track opportunities in CRM.
  • Building and maintaining a strong partner ecosystem by enhancing the capabilities of T1 partners and actively engaging T2 system integrators and OEMs to expand market presence.
  • Build and maintain a strong, high-quality sales pipeline through proactive stakeholder engagement.
  • Accurately track and manage all opportunities using CRM tools.
  • Work closely with internal and external technical specialists to ensure successful solution delivery.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Develop and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers across target industries.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally (Sales Support, Marketing, etc.) to enhance customer experience and deliver optimal outcomes.
  • Maintain clear visibility of all sales activities and projects using internal planning tools.
  • Deliver accurate forecasting and track performance against targets and budgets.

What You Will Bring

  • Proven experience in account management and business development, ideally within the automation, robotics, or industrial solutions sector.
  • Demonstrated success managing and growing large or strategic accounts.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a proactive, innovative approach to winning business.
  • Experience working across multi-channel sales environments (direct, partners, integrators, etc.).
  • Ability to build and influence relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Solid analytical and planning skills, with experience managing complex sales cycles.
  • Strong communication skills in Business English.
  • Willingness to travel across the UK, Ireland, and the Nordics.
