About the Role
To be employed in this role you must pass an enhanced safeguarding check. Our stores operate 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Weekend working is a requirement. You will be responsible for assembling and processing prescriptions, driving awareness of extra pharmacy services (e.g., Prescription Collection Service, Medicines Use Reviews), supporting the pharmacist with patient services (blood pressure checks, stop smoking schemes), developing understanding of Standard Operating Procedures, and collecting prescriptions from doctor's surgeries. You will complete an accredited course to become a qualified Medicine Counter Assistant within 6 months, then train as a Dispensing Assistant.
