Job Description
ERSG are working with a leading investor in Renewable Energy assets to hire a BESS-focused Engineer. This role will see the successful candidate join a market-leader to ensure the delivery of their growing BESS portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Being the lead person on technical developments in the Battery industry - supporting internal and external stakeholders with technical comprehension of BESS.
- Identification and selection of BESS, PCS and EMS providers.
- Support colleagues through acquisition, JVs and project development stages from a technical perspective.
- Ensure FAT/SATs are completed.
- Ensuring delivery of projects in accordance with grid compliance.
Requirements
- Strong background within BESS (upwards of three years).
- Training with inverter manufacturers is a bonus.
- Critical: Experience of managing contractors such as EPCs.
- Hybrid role - based in client's offices for four days per week.
- Travel to site during commissioning and energisation phases (expenses covered).
