[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] are working with a leading investor in Renewable Energy assets to hire a BESS-focused Engineer. This role will see the successful candidate join a market-leader to ensure the delivery of their growing BESS portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Being the lead person on technical developments in the Battery industry - supporting internal and external stakeholders with technical comprehension of BESS.
• Identification and selection of BESS, PCS and EMS providers.
• Support colleagues through acquisition, JVs and project development stages from a technical perspective.
• Ensure FAT/SATs are completed.
• Ensuring delivery of projects in accordance with grid compliance.

Candidate Requirements

• Strong background within BESS (upwards of three years).
• Training with inverter manufacturers is a bonus.
• Experience of managing contractors such as EPCs.
• This position is a hybrid-role, based in the client's offices for four days per week. There will be travel to site (expenses covered) during commissioning and energisation phases.
