Salary: £85,000 - £100,000 per annum

Job Description

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] are working with a leading investor in Renewable Energy assets to hire a BESS-focused Engineer. This role will see the successful candidate join a market-leader to ensure the delivery of their growing BESS portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Being the lead person on technical developments in the Battery industry - supporting internal and external stakeholders with technical comprehension of BESS.
  • Identification and selection of BESS, PCS and EMS providers.
  • Support colleagues through acquisition, JVs and project development stages from a technical perspective.
  • Ensure FAT/SATs are completed.
  • Ensuring delivery of projects in accordance with grid compliance.

Requirements

Candidates should have a strong background within BESS (upwards of three years), additionally any training with inverter manufacturers are a bonus. It is critical that candidates have experience of managing contractors such as EPCs.

Additional Details

This position is a hybrid-role, based in the client's offices for four days per week. There will be travel to site (expenses covered) during the commissioning and energisation phases.
