Housekeeping Supervisor

Join us where ancient woodland meets open skies at Delamere Forest. Location: Delamere (Cheshire). Salary: £13.01 per hour. Working Hours: Part-time, 14 hours. Days of Work: Monday and Friday, 9am until 4:30pm.

About the Role

Work in one of the UK’s most stunning woodland locations, developing your skills while leading a team that provides outstanding service and sparkling-clean cabins for our guests.

Our cabins at Delamere are tucked away in the largest woodland area in Cheshire. A peaceful escape under starry skies, surrounded by nature and designed to help guests unwind, recharge, and reconnect.

About the Housekeeping Supervisor Role

As our Housekeeping Supervisor, you will work closely with the Housekeeping Manager to ensure smooth operations and exceptional service. Open all year round, our Housekeeping Supervisors are assigned a specific number of cabins to manage each changeover day. Working alongside the housekeeping teams, you will ensure that the cabins meet our high brand standards of cleanliness.

You will be a role model for the team, leading by example and ensuring high standards of service and professionalism. In this role you must deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring every guest enjoys the perfect Forest Feeling experience.

Your Responsibilities

  • Providing support and motivation to the Housekeeping Team to ensure high morale and productivity.
  • Delivering adequate training to the team, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge to meet our high standards.
  • Ensuring each cabin is stocked with the correct inventory and meets our cleanliness and presentation standards.
  • Conducting basic health and safety checks, such as inspecting smoke alarms and fire extinguishers.
  • Monitoring and maintaining the quality of cabin cleanliness, ensuring all tasks are completed to the highest standards.

  • Previous experience in a housekeeping/cleaning position, or similar is essential.
  • Experience leading a team.
  • A passion for the outdoors and motivation throughout all weather conditions.
  • A positive, can-do attitude and a strong work ethic.
  • The ability to work effectively in a team and communicate well with colleagues.
  • A willingness to get involved, take initiative, and support the team as needed.
  • Attention to detail, ensuring all tasks are completed to our high standards.
  • A desire to work outdoors in a natural setting and contribute to the teams success.
