Security Officer

Overview of the role

As a professionally trained Security Officer for [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal], you could be a member of the security team responsible for securing premises, such as building sites, courts, shops, warehouses, banks and factories as well as ports and airports. You would be conducting foot or vehicle patrols, controlling access at points of entry, securing equipment and people, responding to emergency situations, monitoring CCTV and surveillance equipment and helping to identify and prevent criminal activity.

Responsibilities

As a Security Receptionist at [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal], you’ll be a key part of our security team ensuring that all visitors / clients are welcomed in a professional manner, ensuring the premises security whilst providing excellent customer service. You’ll handle incoming phone calls, manage the switchboard, liaise with clients, visitors and staff, ensure correct protocols for visitor badges and site access, and deal with breaches or incidents.
