Salary: £34,000 - £39,000 per annum
Type of Contract: Fixed term to 30th June 2025 (with potential extension)

Purpose of the Post
Reporting to the [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Research Project Manager, the successful candidate will be a key member of the Operations team supporting the Associate Directors and Project Managers in delivering on the objectives for the thematic areas and catalysts. You will work closely with [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] and [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] colleagues as well as stakeholders across academia, NHS, third sector, patients and public, and industry. This post would suit someone who is well organised and adaptable with excellent attention to detail and is interested in developing their project management skills.
Main Responsibilities
- Support Project Managers to deliver thematic area and catalyst projects
- Carry out day-to-day management of tasks, including tracking and updating progress in project management software (Monday.com)
- Maintain project management records and support the tracking of progress across thematic areas, catalysts, and projects to internal and external stakeholders
- Provide administrative support in relation to the delivery of thematic area projects and data science catalysts
- Work with the Project Managers and Administrative Assistant to ensure project documents/materials are complete, current, and stored appropriately
- Support Project Managers in producing and presenting reports defining project progress, challenges, and solutions
- Support Project Managers in collating information and preparing documentation for data access submissions, ethics applications and other key areas of work
- Support Project Managers in conducting surveys by drafting, setting up and disseminating surveys
- Carry out analysis (quantitative and qualitative) of input gathered in community engagement
- Work alongside the Project Managers and Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement (PPIE) Manager to develop and deliver PPIE plans
- Organise project specific meetings and workshops
- Support in running project meetings, including preparing and circulating agendas, materials, presentations, and meeting minutes
- Support the development of lasting relationships with key stakeholders
- Work with other members of the team to improve internal ways of working, including documenting processes
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
- Essential: Educated to degree level in relevant subject or equivalent experience; research and project administration/coordination experience; excellent interpersonal, planning and organisational skills; knowledge of research processes; proactive problem-solving; experience of writing documentation; logical and analytic approach; clear communication; team player; proficiency in Microsoft 365, Zoom, Excel.
- Desirable: Experience with Monday.com, SurveyMonkey; familiarity with health data access routes; understanding of information governance; understanding of health data science research.
