Project Co-ordinator (Maternity Cover)

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is hiring a Project Co-ordinator (Maternity Cover) for a fixed-term contract until March 2027. This remote role is based in the UK and involves supporting programme delivery, stakeholder engagement, and data curation.

Purpose of the Post

Reporting to the QQ2 Programme Director, the successful candidate will be a key member of the [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] QQ2 Programmes team, supporting the day-to-day delivery and management of integrative activities across [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]'s QQ2 Programmes, and wider data strategy activities with UK data partners. They will support the day-to-day administration for the team, including engaging with staff and partners, preparing for meetings, following up on actions, coordinating events, and assisting with communications and reporting. The role holder will also collate and update quarterly reporting metrics on [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Programme delivery and impact, and lead on data curation for [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Programmes on the Health Data Research Innovation Gateway.

Main Responsibilities

  • Support the team with key project and programme coordination and admin activities, ensuring timely completion and continuous planning.
  • Support day-to-day management of programme delivery and reporting, including tracking progress in project management software (Monday.com).
  • Maintain project management records and support tracking across thematic areas, catalysts, and projects to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide high-level administrative support – organizing meetings, taking minutes, and following up on actions.
  • Work with the [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Events team to ensure smooth setup and running of events (workshops, seminars, large-scale events) both in person and virtual.
  • Ensure [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Programmes content on the Health Data Research Innovation Gateway is maintained, reviewed, and updated regularly, supporting Programme teams with data curation.
  • Work with Programme Delivery Managers to ensure project documents/materials are complete, current, and stored appropriately with version control.
  • Support Programme team in producing reports defining project progress, challenges, and solutions, including drafting reports and presentations.
  • Support efficient setup and use of team communications and project management tools such as Trello and HubSpot.

  • Coordinate the involvement of key stakeholders at appropriate stages.
  • Be prepared and able to work flexibly to support colleagues, adapting to an evolving environment and emerging priorities.

  • Be highly curious about all aspects of health data science.

Planning and Organising

The Project Coordinator will work closely with the [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] QQ2 Programmes team to support delivery of a portfolio of work. The post-holder will manage their own workload across multiple projects, requiring excellent planning, organisational and time management skills, and a flexible approach to changing demands. Regular travel throughout the UK is expected.

Problem Solving and Decision Making

The Project Coordinator will use problem-solving skills to respond to diverse demands, and will make day-to-day operational decisions for their own workload, contributing to collaborative efforts for project delivery.
