Purpose of the Post
The Programme Manager will have key responsibility for supporting project delivery of the GSK Dementia and Shingles UK-Wide study, working with colleagues from across [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] and partners across the 4 nations.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Strategy and Access: Work closely with scientific and data teams across [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] and GSK to deliver data strategy and roadmap for access to national datasets.
- Lead project management and coordination of data access and linkage applications, developing plans and timelines.
- Support study leadership in implementing consistent processes for data access approvals.
- Prepare delivery updates for joint [Employer hidden]/GSK project delivery group and oversight group.
- Coordinate with PPIE team for patient and public involvement.
- Contribute to equality, diversity and inclusion across multiple partners.
- Support monitoring, measurement and communication of delivery and impact.
- Work with finance and contracting teams for robust financial management.
- Use appropriate team communications and project management tools.
- Support development of reference materials and stakeholder events.
Experience Required
- Experience driving delivery at pace, especially in private-public partnerships.
- Building and maintaining complex stakeholder relationships (commercial, academic, NHS).
- Working in the UK health data ecosystem with understanding of health data science and infrastructure.
- Delivering large scale UK-wide health data research or infrastructure programmes.
- Understanding of health data access information governance, security and privacy.
- Presenting complex information to different stakeholders.
- Adjusting plans and breaking down strategies into milestones.
- Navigating ambiguity and championing change.
- Building collaborative teams across multiple organisations.
- Experience in financial management and project management tools.
