Digital Health Programmes Manager

Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per year

Type: Fixed Term (2 years), Full-time

Purpose of the post

This role will have a particular focus on managing the [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] contribution to our partnership with the EPSRC Digital Health Hubs in the South West (LEAP) and the North West (NortHfutures) which aim to drive innovation in digital health by promoting knowledge and skills sharing across healthcare, academia and business but there will be opportunities and a requirement to contribute to the wider training offer and strategy.

You would also be expected to contribute to the wider portfolio of activities in the [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Capacity Building Team which includes expert-led training courses, workshops, schools, internships, apprenticeships, and more.

Main responsibilities

  • Create a portfolio of training materials to showcase and support research and training activities from the Hubs.
  • Develop and manage a Digital Health internship programme.
  • Develop and manage a series of virtual and in-person training workshops in the area of Digital Health.
  • Contribute to the development of [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]'s learning design strategy and instructional content plan.
  • Develop insights and recommendations to inform decisions on future learning solutions.
  • Contribute to Key Performance Indicators for learning interventions.
  • Maintain sound relationships with stakeholders and represent the Team.
  • Participate and lead design projects, creating plans and ensuring milestones are met.

Who we are looking for

The role would be suitable for someone with a strong interest in digital technologies and their use in health and social care. You should also demonstrate:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferably in science.
  • Enthusiasm and interest in recent innovations in digital technologies particularly in healthcare.
  • Passion for developing training initiatives to support life-long learning.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Curious, original and inspirational thinker.
  • Project/programme management experience with advanced planning skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
  • In-depth knowledge of training and education, learning design, and blended learning.
