Prompt Engineer

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Group is seeking a Prompt Engineer to build and own the company's AI and LLM prompt infrastructure. This is a remote, full-time, mid-senior level position.

Role Summary

Build and own [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] AI and LLM prompt infrastructure across the entire game development company. The objective is to massively increase output, speed, and quality of work for all departments by orchestrating the best LLMs and prompt systems at scale. This role sits at the intersection of production, creativity, and execution. It is a force multiplier for the whole studio.

Responsibilities

  • LLM Experimentation & Orchestration: Continuously test, benchmark, and integrate new LLMs; select the right model per department and use case; run multi-model pipelines to maximize output volume and diversity; manage cost, performance, and reliability tradeoffs.
  • Game Design & Development Support: Build prompt systems for game design: mechanics, economies, progression, balancing, and level concepts; support narrative, quests, world-building, dialogue, and item systems; assist engineering with documentation, system design drafts, technical breakdowns, and tooling support; accelerate prototyping and pre-production cycles.
  • Art, UX & Production: Generate concepts for characters, environments, UI text, UX flows, and feature descriptions; support production with specs, GDDs, Jira stories, sprint planning, and retrospectives; reduce documentation and coordination friction across teams.
  • UA, Marketing & LiveOps: Scale creative, playable, and event ideation; support LiveOps planning, offer design, and content calendars; enable rapid iteration across markets, audiences, and formats.
  • Prompt Systems & Enablement: Build reusable, modular prompt frameworks per department; create a shared internal prompt library and best practices; train teams to use AI effectively without slowing production; ensure outputs are aligned with [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] quality bar.

Qualifications

  • Strong hands-on experience with multiple LLMs and AI tooling
  • Proven ability to increase output volume across complex teams
  • Understanding of full game development pipelines
  • Comfortable working with designers, engineers, artists, producers, and marketers
