Production Manager

Overview

Our client is seeking a high-calibre Production Manager to take ownership of manufacturing operations, driving performance, efficiency, and team capability across the site. This is a key leadership role within a growing business, offering the opportunity to make a tangible impact on operational output, continuous improvement, and culture on the shop floor.

The Role

  • Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing production team
  • Deliver production plans in line with business targets and customer demand
  • Drive improvements across Safety, Quality, Delivery, Productivity, and Cost (SQDPC)
  • Proactively identify and resolve production challenges to minimise downtime
  • Embed a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure seamless production flow
  • Maintain high standards of safety, compliance, and operational discipline
  • Utilise data and systems to monitor performance and inform decision-making

Required

  • Proven experience leading large-scale production teams in manufacturing
  • Strong track record of delivering against operational KPIs
  • Engaging, hands-on leadership style with the ability to influence at all levels
  • Experience driving continuous improvement / lean initiatives
  • Commercial awareness with a focus on efficiency and output
  • Excellent problem-solving and organisational skills
  • Confident using ERP systems and Microsoft Office

  • Monday to Friday
  • 40 Hours, Dayshift
