The Role

Ensuring day to day maintenance of [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal], to meet trading objectives and business strategy. Ensuring the accuracy and smooth execution of all products and merchandising online. Supporting the Ecommerce Executive and Ecommerce Trading Manager in their roles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage product data to ensure all products are launched and maintained on site in a timely manner with imagery, descriptions, attributes and onsite categorisation.
  • Action all merchandising tasks (rankings, recommendations) onsite to fully support the weekly trade plan in order to achieve sales and GP targets.
  • Creating and managing all categories across the site, ensuring all products are categorised correctly.
  • Execute the weekly and monthly content changes to ensure the site is fully updated with current offers and pricing.
  • Conduct daily site checks and responsible for the daily merchandising across the category listing pages to better trade the site.
  • Maintain stock reports and work alongside Supply Chain to maintain strong onsite availability.
  • Support on reporting of weekly & monthly trade performance to the wider Ecom team.
  • Respond to all Online Helpdesk queries within SLA.
  • Manage the publication of weekly blog posts.
  • Work closely with the Buying team and Trade Planning to manage our Paid Media activity online.
  • Maintain the mixed case proposition onsite.
  • Update site content such as T&C where appropriate
  • Ensure smooth launch of new stores online.
  • Support cross-business initiatives and ad-hoc projects as needed

Knowledge & Skills Required

  • Excellent administrative, multi-tasking and organisational skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • A team player, who is self-motivated, proactive and flexible to change.
  • A self-starter, who will take initiative and be proactive.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate to all levels of the business.
  • Passion for online retail and ecommerce
  • Experience with Google Drive and Excel preferred.
  • Knowledge of wine preferred
