Role Responsibilities

The purpose of this role is to co-ordinate the delivery of the Careers & Welfare service on sites in liaison with the Manager and other Site Leaders. The aim is to ensure an informed and effective CEIAG (Careers, Education, Information, Advice and Guidance) service is delivered to individuals and groups of clients, to support enrolment, progression, retention, and achievement of learners within [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal], and to work with key stakeholders to maximise learners’ positive destinations.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience

  • Level 6 Career qualification or relevant industrial experience or professional qualification.
  • Numeracy and Literacy skills (to level 2 or equivalent).
  • Considerable knowledge and experience of working in the Career and Guidance industry.
  • Research skills and the ability to create materials/resources for delivery to clients.
  • Good IT skills using a range of software packages.
  • Ability to manage own workflow and effective time-management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-college teams and establish positive relationships.
  • Ability to train and develop others within the team.
