Lunchtime Organiser

This is a part-time, permanent position for 10 hours per week. Salary: £6,030 per annum (full-time equivalent £25,185). Start date: 31st July 2026.
About The Role
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal], a new and growing special educational needs school which opened in 2025, is seeking dedicated and caring Lunchtime Organisers. You will support pupils during lunchtime, creating a safe, positive and inclusive environment.
- Supervise students in dining areas and around the school
- Support healthy eating and encourage positive social interactions
- Assist with lunchtime clubs (e.g. sports, arts, sensory activities)
- Attend to students’ personal needs, including feeding, hygiene and welfare
- Respond to minor incidents and seek first aid support
- Help ensure lunchtime is calm and enjoyable for all
About the Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
- Enjoys working with children and young people
- Builds positive relationships with pupils, staff and families
- Is patient, flexible and a strong team player
- Communicates clearly and effectively
- Is willing to support students’ personal care needs with dignity
- Experience with SEN students is desirable
