Regional Solutions Architect
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking a Regional Solutions Architect to lead technology design for the London Market specialty insurance business. This is a hands-on role requiring deep domain knowledge and experience with product-led agile delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the UK design authority for [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Risk Technology, providing sign-off on all significant initiatives before build.
- Own the technical approach for every major programme across the Specialty value stream and provide architecture guidance across the wider UK portfolio.
- Work within a product-led, agile operating model, collaborating closely with TPMs, BAs, engineers, and product owners.
- Shape solution designs continuously from discovery through sprint planning to build, ensuring architecture is integral and practical.
- Lead the AI design agenda by designing platforms, integration patterns, and data flows that support AI capabilities in the Specialty business.
- Interface with global Enterprise Architecture to adopt standards beneficial to the UK business while protecting UK-specific requirements.
- Play a central role in UK capability modelling, mapping applications against capabilities, scoring technology health, and influencing APM investment decisions.
Required Skills & Experience
- Deep fluency in London Market placing platforms and integration patterns (Whitespace, PPL, API ecosystem).
- Strong knowledge of market messaging standards such as ACORD (MRC, AL3) and structured data initiatives like Blueprint Two.
- Experience with post-bind and processing architecture including policy administration, endorsements, premium flows, and carrier settlement.
- Expertise in delegated authority system design, including cover holder onboarding, binding authority systems, and bordereaux processing.
- Understanding of Lloyd's market infrastructure (IMR, ECF, Xchanging/DXC, Lloyd's Digital Services) and regulatory submission pipelines.
- Familiarity with claims system architecture covering FNOL, claims management, advocacy workflows, and settlement processing.
- Proficiency in AI platform architecture including model deployment, feature stores, data pipelines, and responsible AI governance frameworks.
