Operations Manager

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is hiring an Operations Manager based at Codham Depot in Brentwood (On-site, Full-time). The role leads the delivery of multiple London-based contracts, reporting to the Operations Director.

Key Responsibilities

  • Embed the Safe Delivery Vision, balancing safety, time, quality and budget.
  • Build strong relationships to enhance the reputation of [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal].
  • Ensure contract requirements are met or exceeded.
  • Support training plans and career progression initiatives.
  • Attend internal and external contract meetings and deliver progress updates.
  • Manage compliance with company procedures and policies.
  • Manage directly employed and supply chain resource.
  • Financially responsible for forecasting, cost value reconciliation, cash forecast and collection.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Significant experience in a construction/civil engineering management role with budget responsibility of £30M/year across multiple contracts.
  • Excellent operational knowledge of Term Maintenance Contracts and strong financial and commercial acumen.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • SMSTS.
  • Temporary works coordinator.
  • Full driving license.
