Health and Safety Advisor - London

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is looking for a Health & Safety Advisor to join our growing team. This is a full-time, onsite position at the Garman Road Depot in Tottenham, London.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safety First: Provide competent H&S advice and guidance across the business.
  • Audit & Investigate: Conduct H&S audits, inspections and incident investigations.
  • Mentor & Influence: Coach and guide employees at all levels to strengthen safety culture.
  • RAMS & Safe Systems: Undertake and review risk assessments and method statements.
  • Incident & Data Management: Support investigation and reporting of incidents.
  • Compliance & Legal Register: Contribute to compliance evaluations.
  • Operational Collaboration: Work closely with contracts managers and site teams.
  • Reporting: Support reporting of QHSE performance and risks.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Essential Qualifications

  • NEBOSH Construction Certificate (minimum) (NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent strongly desirable).

Essential Experience

  • Proven experience as a Health & Safety Advisor within highways, civil engineering, utilities, or street works environment.
  • Strong practical experience managing H&S involving underground services.
  • Working knowledge of CDM Regulations 2015.
  • Understanding of Temporary Works.
  • Experience reviewing and improving RAMS.
  • Experience conducting site inspections/audits and incident investigations.

Other Requirements

  • Full UK driving licence (essential).
