Job Description
We are seeking a talented Client Executive to join our Commercial team across the NW region encompassing Liverpool and Manchester where you will lead a multi-disciplined client services team to deliver comprehensive insurance and risk management support to our clients and prospective clients. This is a Hybrid role where your time will be spent seeing clients, in the office, or working from home. The expectation will be that you are out seeing clients or in the office a minimum of 3 days per week.
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of complex commercial clients.
- Develop an understanding of the clients’ business strategic priorities, risk strategies and risk management needs and work with specialist colleagues to provide advice/consultancy support.
- Develop and execute renewal/placement strategies in conjunction with the broking and client service team in accordance with client instructions.
- Work with colleagues to identify and win prospective clients or project work.
- Build and maintain multi-level relationships with clients and be the primary point of contact for day-to-day service needs.
- Keep abreast of changing market conditions.
Requirements
- Experience in the insurance and risk management industry, preferably in a Client Executive / Account Executive role.
- Strong communication skills.
- Excellent negotiation and influencing skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple enquiries simultaneously.
- Fully competent in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Driving license essential to visit clients.
Preferred Qualifications
- An appetite to work collaboratively and develop your existing skill set.
- Exposure to PI / legal clients is desirable, not essential.
- Dynamic and ambitious with relevant client-facing experience.
- Ability to understand large clients, their risks and exposures.
- The ability to remain calm under pressure and be able to work flexibly when required.
- ACII part/fully qualified (or equivalent).
