Job Overview
This is an exciting opportunity to participate in and guide the most significant UI and UX overhaul in the company's history, shaping the future direction of [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] products and user experiences.
As a Lead Product Designer, you will strategically own and shape large portions of the user experience, working closely with Group Product Managers (GPMs) and Engineering Managers (EMs) to define and execute the product roadmap.
Responsibilities and Duties
Strategic Design Leadership
- Partner with GPMs and EMs to define and shape the product roadmap
- Own and drive large segments of the user experience
User Journey Ownership
- Develop a deep understanding of the end-to-end user journey
- Align individual design solutions into a cohesive and seamless experience
Mentorship & Team Growth
- Mentor and coach Product Designers
- Promote best practices and foster a culture of continuous learning and design excellence
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with Product Designers, Product Managers, Engineers, and User Researchers
- Ensure alignment and integration across all stages of product development
Design Advocacy
- Champion user-centered design principles across the organization
- Engage stakeholders, visualize design concepts, and promote a holistic product experience
Continuous Improvement
- Partner with Design Leads and User Researchers to refine and elevate overall design strategy
- Contribute to ongoing design initiatives and framework improvements
Qualifications
Required
- 6+ years of experience in Product Design, including leading strategic design initiatives
- Strong expertise in UX/UI design, user-centered design, and service design principles
- Proven experience collaborating with product and engineering leadership
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and lead designers
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Strategic mindset with the ability to align design with business goals and user needs
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive outcomes
- Fluent in spoken and written English
Nice to Have
- Experience in FinTech, procurement, invoicing, or payments-related SaaS products
- Familiarity with design systems, service design methodologies, and front-end workflows
- Interest or experience in AI and automation in SaaS products
- Experience working in a dynamic, international environment
