Accelerating Women in Engineering Placement Programme

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] offers a one-year paid industrial placement for women engineers, providing exposure to Formula 1 and Advanced Technologies.

  • Salary: £30,000 per year
  • Location: Brixworth, Northamptonshire
  • Start: Monday 31st August 2026
  • Work type: Full-time, On-site

Programme Details

  • Full-time work experience in 2 areas of our Engineering facility (1 rotation)
  • A mentor assigned to each participant
  • Skills workshops throughout the year

Criteria

  • Women studying for a 2:1 degree or above in an Engineering discipline, able to commit to a 1 year placement starting September 2026
  • Available to attend the Accelerating Women in Engineering Programme Workshop on Friday 19th June 2026
  • Excellent understanding of engineering first principles
  • Curious and tenacious individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Practical, hands-on experience to complement academic studies
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Self-motivated, thorough engineers that are adaptable, creative, and innovative
  • The courage to challenge and desire to be challenged

  • Shortlisted candidates attend Workshop & Assessment Day on 19th June 2026 at the factory in Brixworth
  • If successful, start on Monday 31st August 2026
