The Personal Travel Agents, the award-winning homeworking division of [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal], are looking for an Agent Support Manager to join our fast paced, dynamic support team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded travel professional who is passionate about coaching, developing and motivating others to succeed.

What you’ll be doing

As an Agent Support Manager, you will play a key role in helping our self employed Personal Travel Agents grow profitable, sustainable businesses by providing hands on support, guidance and inspiration.

  • Work closely with a portfolio of self employed Personal Travel Agents, supporting and motivating them in the day to day running of their businesses
  • Coach agents on sales, marketing and business planning to help them achieve their individual sales and profit goals
  • Drive profitable performance against forecasts
  • Be visible, accessible and proactive in providing business coaching and personal development
  • Train, mentor and support new Personal Travel Agents during their first year, ensuring a strong, confident start
  • Build trusted, professional relationships that deliver high engagement and exceptional service
  • Create and deliver effective communication and initiatives to strengthen agent connection and involvement
  • Understand the knowledge gaps and support in both the facilitation and personal delivery of training courses spanning a variety of areas

Who are we looking for?

To be successful in this role, you’ll bring a strong mix of commercial travel experience, people skills and coaching ability.

  • At least 3 years’ experience in a retail travel environment
  • A proven personal sales track record within travel
  • Demonstrable coaching & training skills, mentoring or management experience
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and inspire
  • Strong IT skills and confidence using Microsoft Office packages
  • A passion for delivering outstanding customer service
