Zero-Hour Contract Care Worker – Kent
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is recruiting Zero-Hour Contract Support Workers for Supported Living Services in Kent. This role offers £14.09 per hour and involves supporting adults with learning disabilities and/or mental health needs.

About the Role
As a Support Worker, you will provide day-to-day care and practical support in line with each Service User’s individual care plan. You will play an important role in promoting independence, dignity, choice, wellbeing and safety.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Supporting Service Users with daily living tasks
- Providing personal care where required
- Administering or supporting with medication, in line with procedures
- Preparing meals and supporting with feeding where needed
- Supporting Service Users to access the community and attend appointments
- Helping with cleaning and maintaining a safe living environment
- Responding appropriately to Service User queries, concerns or complaints
- Safeguarding vulnerable adults and reporting concerns in line with company procedures
- Maintaining accurate, confidential and up-to-date records and documentation
- Working as part of a team to deliver person-centred support

What We Are Looking For
Previous experience in a Support Worker or Care Worker role is desirable, but not essential, as full training will be provided.
We are looking for people who have:
- A genuine passion for care and supporting others
- A kind, respectful and person-centred approach
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- The ability to work well as part of a team
- Resilience and the confidence to ask for support when needed
- A full UK driving licence and your own vehicle
- Basic computer literacy
- A reliable and professional attitude
An NVQ Level 1 or 2 in Health and Social Care, or equivalent qualification, is desirable but not essential.
Applicants must be able to provide evidence of valid right to work in the UK.
